Entralling Iceland

Day 1- Arrive in Reykjavik
Upon arriving in Reykjavik, Iceland’s lively capital, settle into your accommodation and take some time to explore the city. You can stroll through the colorful streets and visit some of its key landmarks, like the iconic Hallgrímskirkja Church, which offers panoramic views of the city from its tower. As you explore, take in the charm of the Old Harbor, where you can feel the pulse of Reykjavik’s unique culture and coastal vibe. Enjoy a relaxed evening in the city, perhaps sampling some of the local cuisine before resting up for the journey ahead.

DAY 2 Reykjavik to Snaefellsnes Peninsula
After breakfast, it’s time to get behind the wheel of your Land Rover Defender and gear up for an unforgettable drive through Iceland’s raw and rugged landscapes. After a quick briefing on the vehicles and road conditions, we set off north from Reykjavik toward the breathtaking Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Feel the thrill of the open road as we navigate through dramatic lava fields, rolling hills, and windswept coastlines.As the day winds down, we’ll arrive at Arnarstapi where we will retire for the night.

DAY 3- Snaefellsnes Peninsula - Thingvellir National Park - Geysir
Leaving the Snæfellsnes Peninsula behind, we hit the road once again, cruising past stunning coastal views that make every mile unforgettable. As we push forward toward the legendary Golden Circle, the landscapes shift dramatically—volcanic fields give way to lush valleys and steaming geothermal zones. Along the way, we’ll stop at the iconic Black Church in Búðir, the striking Svörtuloft Lighthouse perched on the cliffs, and the otherworldly Saxhóll Crater.
Our next stop is Þingvellir National Park, where you’ll experience the thrill of driving through a rift valley that separates the North American and Eurasian
tectonic plates. Along the way, we’ll pass cascading waterfalls, bubbling hot springs, and untouched wilderness that showcase Iceland’s raw beauty. The day ends at the iconic Great Geysir hot spring area, where you can witness the power of nature as steaming water erupts into the sky—a perfect finale to another epic day on the road.

DAY 4 Geysir - Gullfoss - Hella
Today, we kick off the journey from Geysir, driving towards the breathtaking Gullfoss Falls. As you approach, feel the rumble of this mighty two-tiered waterfall plunging into a deep canyon, sending mist into the crisp Icelandic air. After soaking in its glory, the adventure shifts into high gear as we head toward Langjökull Glacier. Here, you’ll swap four wheels for a snowmobile and race across Iceland’s second-largest glacier—an experience that blends adrenaline and endless panoramic views. With the vast, snow-covered expanse stretching ahead, this will be one of the most exhilarating moments of your Iceland Expedition.

DAY 5 Hella – Fjallsarlon (Glacier Lagoon)
The drive from Hella to Fjallsárlón in October offers a scenic journey through South Iceland, with potential for stunning views of glaciers, icebergs, and volcanic landscapes. As you get closer to Fjallsárlón, you'll start to see the vast Vatnajökull glacier and its outlet glaciers, including the icebergs floating in Fjallsárlón and Jökulsárlón. This smaller iceberg lagoon offers stunning views of the glacier and icebergs, often with fewer crowds than the more famous Jökulsárlón. Sail in the Zodiac boat, amongst floating icebergs on the majestic Fjallsarlon Glacier Lagoon. This adventure tour will allow you to connect with the Icelandic nature in a way you have never experienced before.

DAY 6 :Glacier Lagoon - Reykjavik
Our final day on the road, but the adventure isn’t over yet! We’ll drive along Iceland’s breathtaking southern coast. The journey continues to two of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls-Skógafoss, where a powerful cascade plunges into the valley below, and Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the rushing water for a truly magical experience. With hearts full of memories and bags packed with souvenirs, we’ll make our way back to Reykjavik, where we bid farewell to our Defenders—closing this epic Iceland road trip on a high note.

DAY 7 : Reykjavik
Enjoy a relaxed morning before fueling up with a hearty breakfast. Then, hop aboard a private coach as we make our way to the famous Blue Lagoon. Slip into your swimwear and sink into the warm, mineral-rich geothermal waters. Unwind, soak in the otherworldly surroundings, and maybe even grab a drink from the floating bar as you toast to an incredible journey. After a laid-back lunch, we head back to Reykjavik for one last evening of exploring and shopping. As the trip comes to a close, gather with your fellow travelers for a memorable farewell dinner—celebrating the epic experiences and friendships made along the way.

DAY 8 - Reykjavik
As your unforgettable Icelandic adventure comes to a close, take a moment to soak in the last sights and sounds of Reykjavik over a leisurely breakfast. Reflect on the epic drives, the breathtaking landscapes, and the incredible moments shared with fellow travelers. Though it’s time to head to the airport, you’re not just taking home souvenirs—you’re carrying a heart full of memories, stories to tell, and a deep connection to the land of fire and ice. Iceland may be behind you for now, but the spirit of adventure will surely stay with you.
