Madurai is built around the Meenakshi Amman Temple, which is one of the most prominent landmarks of the city.There are also two golden sculptured vimana (shrines) over the sanctum of the main deities. The temple is a significant symbol for Tamils and has been mentioned since antiquity in Tamil literature.

Rameswaram is a town and a second grade municipality in the Ramanathapuram district in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located on Pamban Island separated from mainland India by the Pamban channel and is about 50 kilometres from Mannar Island, Sri Lanka. It is situated in the Gulf of Mannar, at the very tip of the Indian peninsula. The town along with the Ramanathaswamy temple is one of the holiest Hindu Char Dham comprising Badrinath,Puri and Dwarka.

Day 01 – Arrival Madurai pick-up Railway station/Airport & transfer to hotel. Rest of the day visit Madurai sightseeing SreeMeenakshi Amman Temple is one of the most famous temples in South India. The huge temple that extends beyond 6 hectares of land is dedicated to god Shiva and it is named after goddess Parvati. Overnight stay at Madurai.


Day 02 – After Breakfast at hotel drive to Rameshwaram. Approx. 200 kms/5 hrs drive.Arrival transfer to hotel. After fresh-n-up visit sightseeing – Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple, Tamil Nadu is located on the island town of Rameshwaram, is one of the four sacred Char Dhams in the country, the other three being Jagannath Temple in Puri (Orissa), Dwarkadheesh Temple in Dwarka (Gujarat) and the Badrinath temple in Badrinath (Uttarakhand). The temple gets its name from Lord Rama because he came here to worship Lord Shiva.

Eerily deserted and mystically beautiful, the Dhanushkodi Beach makes for a marvelous sight to behold. Endlessly stretching silvery sands, cool breeze, crystal clear water and age old ruins give the place a dream like feel. Head here early morning to enjoy a sunrise you will remember and cherish for a lifetime. Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.


Day 03 – After Breakfast at hotel drive to Kanyakumari. Approx. 310 kms / 8 hrs drive. Arrival transfer to hotel & overnight stay.


Day 04 – After Breakfast at hotel visit Kanyakumari sightseeing –  The famous Vivekanand Rock Memorial and breath the highest quantity of O3 – meditate in the “OmkarBhavan” on Rock Memorial, marvelous view Local Poet Saint “ThiruValluvar”  – Kanyakumari Devi temple, Gandhi Mandapam built in Hindu, Muslim & Christianity style and the “Kalash” (ashes) of Mahatma Gandhi receive sun rays at 12:00 noon every 2nd October.Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.


Day 05 – After Breakfast at hotel drive to Madurai. Approx. 250 kms / 6 hrs drive. Arrival departure transfer to Railway station/Airport. Tour ends.
