Tour Itinerary

Kolkatta - Gangtok - Darjeeling - Mirik

Day 1 - Kolkatta

Your tour begins on reporting at your hotel at 10 a.m. in Kolkatta.
After lunch, a breezy tour through Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, Kali Mandir, and Dashineswar. Proceed to New Jalpaiguri in the evening by train.

Day 2 - Mirik

Arrive at Sunrise at New Jalpaiguri. Leave for Mirik. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Lunch followed by afternoon siesta. At 3 O'clock, visit Mirik lake and enjoy boating

Day 3 - Darjeeling

En route to Darjeeling, visit the exotic Tea gardens. Shopping at Pashupati town across the border in Nepal. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4 - Darjeeling

Start the day with the spectacular Sunrise at Tiger Hill. On clear days one can see the snow capped Kanchenjunga mountain. Later, visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasshia Loop, Tea Garden, Tenzing Rock, Mountaineering Rock Garden, Ganga Maiya Park. Overnight Stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5 - Gangtok

Morning departure to Gangtok. En-route enjoy white river rafting at Teesta River. Arrival at Gangtok, meaning the hilltop and the capital of Sikkim. Overnight stay.

Day 6 - Gangtok

Visit Tsomgo (Changu) Lake which remains frozen during winter. Around the lake there are a few walking trails, and yak rides. Darshan at Baba Mandir, shrine of the army officer, followed by visit to Ganesh Tok & Enchey monastery. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 7- Gangtok

Enjoy breakfast and proceed to Rumtek Monastery, the seat of the Gyalwa Karmapa, the head of the Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism. Spend the evening shopping at Mall road. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 8 - New Jalpaigudy

After lunch, depart to New Jalpaigudy to board the evening train to Kolkatta.

Day 9- Kolkatta

On arrival at Kolkatta, check in at the hotel (Food is not included).

Day 10- Kolkatta

Check out at 10 a.m. The tour ends.
