Day - 1 : Kolkata kaleidoscope
Welcome to the capital of the East Indian state of West Bengal -
Kolkata. On arrival, check in at the hotel(12.00 noon and enjoy the entire day to yourself; kick up your shoes and relax at the hotel or indulge in retail therapy by shopping in the evening. Overnight stay at Kolkatta.
Day - 2 : Kolkata - New Jalpaigudi by train
Fuel yourself with breakfast, check out from the hotel & enjoy sightseeing tour of Victoria memorial, Birla Planetorium, Kali Mandir, Dakshineshwar & Belur Math. Enjoy the ride as you proceed for New Jalpaigudi by overnight train journey.
Day - 3 : Moving towards Mirik
On arriving at New Jalpaigudi in the morning, take a breakfast & depart to Mirik. On arrival at Mirik check in to the hotel, have a heartful lunch and unwind. Let the water soothe your senses as you boat around the Mirik lake ( 3 pm). Overnight stay at Mirik.
Day - 4 : Darjeeling calling
Get dazzled by nature’s bounty as you depart to Darjeeling. en route visit beautiful Tea gardens and enjoy shopping at Pashupati situated across the border in Nepal. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 5 : Delhi darbaar
Witness the sun rise in the early morning sky at Tiger Hill and catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Mt. Kanchanjunga range on clear weather days. Later, enjoy the other attraction of Darjeeling - Ghoom Monetary, Batasshia Loop, Tea Garden, Tenzing Rock Mountaineering Rock Garden, Ganga Maiya Park. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day - 6 :Going Gangtok
After breakfast, proceed to Gangtok & en-route enjoy white river rafting at Tista River.( At own cost ) Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day - 7 : Gorgeous Gangtok
Enjoy the frost of the iced (during winter)Tsangu Lake, attain peace at Baba Mandir, Ganesh Tok & Enchey monastery. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day - 8 : Serene Gangtok
After breakfast, visit Rumtek Monastery where lamas achieve their final spiritual degree. Indulge in shopping at the mall road in the evening. Over night stay at Gangtok.
Day - 9 : Back to New Jalpaigudi
After lunch, depart to New Jalpaigudi to catch evening train to Kolkata on an overnight journey.
